I am a backend, DevOps, platform and reliability engineer with over 12 years of experience building and operating systems that have to stay up. I work in Go, Python, Java,TypeScript/Node.js and C#, and my centre of gravity is distributed infrastructure: Kubernetes, Kafka, observability pipelines and infrastructure as code. More recently I have been applying LLMs to reliability work, automating triage and investigation, and building Model Context Protocol servers that give AI agents safe, scoped access to internal systems. I have worked remotely with distributed teams across the US, Singapore and Europe for most of the last decade.

• Built LLM-assisted workflows into reliability operations, covering automated alert triage, incident context summarisation and runbook drafting, which cut the manual investigation load on on-call engineers.

• Developed Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers exposing internal observability and infrastructure systems to LLM clients, covering tool design, transport, authentication and scoping of what an agent is allowed to do.

• Run reliability for systems built on Apache Kafka, covering durability and availability trade-offs, partition-level troubleshooting and rolling cluster operations.

• Onboard services onto the Datadog observability suite, working with owning teams on metrics, SLIs, dashboards and alerting that reflects real user impact.

• Provision and manage Kubernetes clusters with Terraform and deliver to them through GitOps with ArgoCD, and work across the telemetry toolchain including OpenTelemetry and Vector for log pipeline shaping.
