I've been actively following webassembly standard and development before its release (in 2016) and I'm conversant with its official specification. I use its tools (emscripten, binaryen, wasm-studio, ...) regularly. I understand its text formats (s-expression/linear) and its binary format as well. I was a core contributor to wasmer webassembly runtime and it was a fun time with the entire team. I'm currently implementing a non-browser wasm runtime and working on some other related wasm projects as well

I've had experience in Rust for more than a year although I wasn't using it actively for my projects. Recently I've had a lot of reasons to use it as more and more of my projects get written in Rust. I wrote a webassembly parser in Rust not long ago and I wish to use it for relevant systems programming needs in the future.
