Christopher Northfield

I have extensive experience developing full-stack B2B and B2C SPA's. This includes design and development of applications for both the finance and insurance industries. My knowledge of "vanilla" JavaScript as a whole is very good with my passion lying with AngularJS. I have won the gold award at both the Skills Competition Wales and the WorldSkills UK Competitions for Web Design although I am not a designer. From a front end technology point of view, my skills include the full suite of HTML5, CSS3 (including preprocessors such as SCSS and LESS) and JavaScript.

I have developed web applications in C# with the MVC.NET framework. I have created dynamic applications that support deeplinking from aggregators, affiliates and white label solutions. I also use Entity framework 6 with code first migrations (model first), handling updates of multiple context's within projects. Applications I have developed also consist of user management with ASP.NET Identity.

I have developed commercial websites for clients using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I have had experience from static websites to themes for Wordpress and dynamic websites built with PHP. I also won the World Skills UK Web Design final which showcased my HTML, CSS, JavaScript and use of jQuery.

I work with JavaScript professionally on a daily basis creating dynamic web applications for users. I always work with best practice methodology and keep code as clean and as simple as possible.
