Software Engineer with over 7 years working experience in PHP, Javascript, Nodejs, DevOps, and Product Design

I am a full stack engineer with 15 years of experience, most recently a systems engineer at Cloudflare, where I led the migration of cloudflare.com from Gatsby to Astro and built Rex, an AI recommendation engine serving personalised suggestions across the site. I work end to end, from the RFC through to the deploy pipeline.

I now run Admissio, a multi-tenant admissions platform for schools and universities built on Cloudflare Workers with per-tenant isolation, Durable Objects, and Queues, on a React and Inertia frontend. It runs on Stratal, an open framework for Workers that I wrote and maintain. I also published the Student Data Interoperability standard, an open spec for moving applicant records between admissions platforms, SIS, and LMS.

My core stack is TypeScript, React, Node.js, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Cloudflare Workers. I am based in Lisbon and work remotely.

Built health-mediated progressive delivery for three Kubernetes services and three Cloudflare Workers using Argo Rollouts, with health-based monitoring and automatic rollback on degradation. Delivered as part of the deployment-safety work following the November 2025 global outage.
Drove the technical architecture and execution of the cloudflare.com redesign, coordinating across engineering, design, and web production stakeholders.
Built a production-grade bulk redirect Contentful app and authored the RFC for Contentful Apps integration, allowing the Web Producer team to manage bulk redirects without engineering involvement.
