- Lead Engineer at RED Ed: built a complete LCMS from scratch, delivered to 300+ participants, cut recidivism to under 10%, and got the program accredited by Cognia. Live at myreded.com . Worked with District Attourneys, judges, prosecutors, attorneys and prison managers to design a platform that identifies risk factors with evidence based assessments to intervene and reduce recidivism.
- Founder of Snowball Financial Education: taught finance to 500+ students in the DeKalb school system, 9/10 from 200+ participants. This is what got me started into software and eventually led me to build a full LCMS with games, simulation, and content for RED Ed
- Game dev: Physics based games and am in the process of creating my own multiplayer game. I can share this on the interview and play with you instantly with a link.
- Real-time social features for Peri, a gift generation app: real time feeds, follows, Places API, Supabase triggers, live UI, event based reminders and notifications for birthdays and any special occassion.
- Full-stack apps and REST APIs at Pocketmade, software company in San Francisco, in an agile team; wrote the onboarding docs that cut new-hire ramp-up
- Design-to-code tutorials for Locofy.ai, Singapore based company, that reached 50,000+ viewers (started by helping them for free, then got hired to create tutorials)

RED Ed platform
Main Tech Stack: React / Node / Redux / Firebase
- Designed and built the core learning platform: ~90 feature areas , developed and maintained solo over 7 years, accredited by Cognia in 2025
- Built an authoring system for interactive lessons with in-house learning components: quizzes, drag-and-drop, decision-tree games, chat simulations, carousels, Likert scales, and a financial simulations.
- Implemented assessment tooling including the LSI (Level of Service Inventory) risk assessment and an emotional-intelligence assessment, with pre/post intake-and-exit measurement and longitudinal outcome tracking.
- Built classroom and case-management dashboards for program coordinators, judges, attorneys, mentors, and admins: participant tables, multi-classroom risk assessment and overview, attendance/absence justification, engagement tracking, and role-based access control.
- Created a suite of generated PDF reports (risk tables, judge-facing status reports, progress reports) using @react-pdf/renderer.
- Integrated Stripe for court-diversion program payments end to end.
- Built server-side functions handling payments (Stripe), transactional email (SendGrid/MailerSend), SMS (Twilio), push notifications, scheduled reminders, document e-signatures, assignment and event reminders, inactivity follow-ups, longitudinal check-ins, progress-report previews, and system health digests.
- Integrated OpenAI for AI-assisted features: lesson review, résumé review, syllabus generation, and a writing-improvement tool that also measures grade level.

Games & lessons built with Next.js / React
- Built four financial education products: a budgeting simulator, a credit-and-debt game, a five-year historical stock-market investing sim, and a reusable spreadsheet-lesson engine covering budgeting, interest, credit, taxes, and investing.
- Built a linear progression system: one ordered curriculum drives unlock gating, a "continue where you left off" dashboard, and the admin roster.
Backend & Data: Supabase / Stripe
- Implemented Supabase magic-link auth and API routes for progress, feedback, an email wishlist, and checkout, as well as Google login.
- Integrated Stripe for a live one-time purchase that unlocks the full program.
- Designed the Postgres model with row-level security
- Built an admin dashboard with protected routes for the roster, per-user progress, and funnel stats.

Design-to-code specialist and developer advocate for Locofy, a Figma design to code tool. Built and shipped tutorial content and demo applications that taught the community how to adopt the tool incrementally, produced 5 tutorial videos that reached roughly 35,000 views on YouTube, and partnered directly with companies, designers, and developers to create success cases and surface integration friction points.
Achievements:
- Adopted Locofy as a developer and gave detailed feedback from a developer's standpoint for free for months. The Locofy team shipped features I needed based on that feedback, and they hired me off the strength of it.
- Created and contributed to developer education content that reached over 500,000 views, including 5 self-produced Locofy tutorials (~35,000 views) and script and design support for creators like Tech With Tim and JavaScript Mastery.
- Built single and two-screen apps from scratch (to-do, messaging, login/announcements on Firebase, stocks with auth and favorites), pairing ChatGPT for business logic with Locofy for the UI to ship full flows in under an hour.
- Gave the Locofy team direct product feedback on component isolation, onboarding complexity, and UI polish.
- Built reusable community assets: before-and-after Figma comparisons and a public GitHub repo with the designs and the ChatGPT prompts used.
