Part of the embedded software team that designed and developed the high-level software for large format inkjet printers. We were responsible for receiving a print-job, deciding which sequences needed to be ran, ripping and transforming the print-data into a format that the printer-heads understood and then instructing the printer-heads and the firmware on the different PCB's so that all motors / sensors / heaters / UV-lights / ...would actuate at the correct time, resulting in the best possible quality print.
Appart from that I also developed a bunch of tools on top of the RCS revision control system (the only version control we had back then...) to make working with it a bit more pleasant
