I'm an interactive Artist and Developer.
Hello! I'm Mario; I consider myself a technology enthusiast. Since I was little, I felt inspired by technology, and through the years I found myself very close to that first love. I started my journey studying electronics in high school, at the same time I developed some interest in the music area, which led me to study Sound Recording and Audio Post Production. I have been always very curious about technology, so it wasn't long since I discover sound programming and different programming languages, and I felt captivated by that.
I'm co-founder of Mad Multimedia; we develop custom solutions in the Interactive Design area. We mix technology with programming and design, to bring solutions that help our clients achieve their goals.
We are also developing interactive solutions for the Digital Signage market, which blends perfectly with our tech profile and artistic love.

In this project our client asked for a fun game that involved bicycle tires. We came up with the idea of sensing two players from the ceiling with a kinect, and sense both feet. That was the physical part of the game, for the digital part, we develop a game in Open Frameworks, where the goal was to step on the virtual wheels to win a point! To complete the experience we also created five real tires with led lighting, these wheels played the role of the color picker for each player before the game started. The player with more point in a minute wins the game!
