I lead a small team of developers mostly working on backends and web frontends for contests and competitions, and occasionally taking on some side projects for clients (like video games). I'm in charge of writing, reviewing, optimizing code, managing and distributing tasks for developers, picking which technologies, frameworks, environments, and solutions to use for our workplace, and doing a bit of dev ops and database/server administration. Trained a small team of developers on how to build a videogame. Built an educational videogame for multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, and OS X) using Unity.

Helped build a backend that handled over a million users and ~10,000 concurrent users using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Laravel, and MongoDB. Helped build a scalable boilerplate system that can be re-used for high traffic voting events. Wrote numerous commandline utilities, tools, and helper scripts in Ruby that handled things like image processing and data manipulation.
